Dr. Anjana Gandhi

Dr. Anjana Gandhi is a Consultant in the Department of General Surgery at Bhagwan Mahavir Manipal Hospital, Ranchi. With an MBBS, MS in General Surgery, and a Diploma in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Dr. Gandhi is a distinguished General Surgeon in Jharkhand. Her extensive career spans over a decade, during which she has performed than 10,000 surgeries, including complex and rare cases.

Dr. Gandhi's dual specialisation in General Surgery and Gynaecology allows her to adeptly handle complicated situations in female patients. Her areas of expertise include a wide range of laparoscopic surgeries, such as Lap. cholecystectomy, Lap. CBD exploration, Lap Appendectomy, and VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery).

In female patients she is trained to do laparoscopic  hysterectomy,lap and dye procedure, hystereoscopy.

She is also skilled in emergency surgeries, including GI perforation, trauma, road-traffic accidents, splenectomy, and gastrojejunostomy. In the field of laser surgeries, she excels in procedures for proctology and varicose veins. Additionally, Dr. Gandhi has significant experience in breast surgeries for conditions like Fibroadenoma and Phylloides Tumour, as well as in oncological surgeries such as MRM (Modified Radical Mastectomy), APR (Abdominoperineal Resection), and partial gastrectomy. These include a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery from AIIMS, Patna, and advanced courses in laparoscopic gynecology and colorectal surgery from top institutions like AIIMS, Delhi, and EISE, Mumbai. he has taken training in gynec oncology from TMC.

Dr. Gandhi has also completed specialized training in hysteroscopy, laparoscopic hernia repair, and stapler hemorrhoidectomy. Her dedication to continuous learning is evident from her clinical immersion in esophagectomy (VATS) and advanced laparoscopic workshops.
