Dr. Abhinav Mishra is a highly skilled consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Bhagwan Mahavir Manipal Hospitals, Ranchi. He completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, Mysore. He later earned an MS in Orthopaedics from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, and a DNB in Orthopaedics.

Dr. Mishra has undergone advanced training through prestigious fellowships. These include the ISAKOS Fellowship in Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopy, the NHKJRF Clinical Fellowship in Knee and Hip Arthroplasty, and the IAA Fellowship in Joint Replacements, where he has been trained in Robotic and Revision Surgeries . These experiences, under the guidance of leading national and international mentors, have sharpened his skills in complex joint procedures.

Over the past 8 years, Dr. Mishra has built extensive clinical expertise through senior residencies at reputed hospitals in Delhi and Ranchi. He also served as a consultant at leading healthcare institutions in Ranchi. His surgical expertise covers a broad spectrum of orthopaedic care. He has independently completed more than 7,000 trauma procedures, including Complex Pelvic, Acetabular, and Intra-articular Fracture Fixations.

In addition, Dr. Mishra has performed over 1000 Primary and Revision Hip and Knee Arthroplasties, including advanced procedures using navigated and robotic-assisted techniques. His Arthroscopy experience includes more than 1000 Knee Surgeries including ACL reconstruction, PCL reconstruction & multiligament injuries, as well as over 300 Shoulder Arthroscopies, including Bankart Repair and Rotator Cuff Repair.

In Shoulder Reconstruction, Dr. Mishra has assisted and performed over 40 Reverse Shoulder Replacements under expert supervision. His Spine Surgery exposure spans both assistance and independent procedures. He has participated in complex surgeries, such as Kyphoscoliosis correction and Growth Modulation. He has performed several spinal fusion, decompression and stabilisation procedures independently.  He is also trained in Orthopaedic Oncology and Paediatric Orthopaedics, managing Tumour Resections and Paediatric Corrective Surgeries.

Dr. Mishra is actively involved in academics and research. He has authored PubMed-indexed publications in reputed journals, including the Journal of Orthopaedic Case Reports and the Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (JOIO). He has presented at leading conferences and received accolades such as the Best Case Presentation (Under 40) at the AIIMS Clinical Case Assembly. He is regularly invited as faculty at national and state-level conferences, including the AOPAS–JOA Pelvi-Acetabular Conference and the Chandigarh Shoulder Course, among others.

He also plays an active role in various professional bodies. He is a member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), the Indian Arthroscopy Association (IAA), and the Indian Arthroplasty Association. He is also affiliated with the Jharkhand Orthopaedic Association and ISKSAA (Indian Society of Knee Surgery, Arthroscopy, & Arthroplasty).
